In conjunction with the Stoker Dracula International Halloween Festival of Horror, entries are being accepted for the Stoker Academy Gothic Horror Writing Competition. The competition is open to all countries, however all entries must be in English and the theme must be gothic/horror with a maximum of 2,000 words.
Entries can be in the form of a prose piece, a short story, a poem, a play (drama), a song or ballad. Entries must be typed on A4 size paper with a one inch margin. Your entry must be unpublished, your own work and not have won a prize in a previous competition. The entry fee is €20.00 per entry, by way of cheque or money order made out to The Stoker Dracula Organisation. The first prize is €500.
