The annual RTÉ Guide/Puffin Children’s Short Story Competition has three different young writer categories. Have a look at their Facebook page for the different word counts. Just note that it closes soon, on Friday, April 22, at 5pm.
Prizes include publication in the RTÉ Guide, a kindle, a hamper of books, and much more, including a class visit from an author.
