The Patrick Kavanagh Poetry Award 2010 is now open for a first unpublished collection of poems in English. The winner of this year’s award will receive €1,000.
It is open to poets, born in the island of Ireland, or of Irish nationality, or long term resident in Ireland. The collection of poems must be in English and consist of 20 poems. Individual poems should not be longer than 40 lines. The only works eligible are unpublished or magazine published works. To enter send two typed copies of the collection with an entry form.
