The IHS International Haiku Competition 2014 has prizes of 150, 50 and 30 Euro for unpublished haiku/senryu in English. A haiku/senryu written in a foreign language, should be submitted accompanied by an English translation of the haiku on the same list.
There will also be up to seven Highly Commended haiku/senryu.
Send in your competition entry/entries by November 30th 2014. Open to writers around the world.
No limit as to number of entries.
Entry Fees: €3 or £2.50 or ¥ 500, or USA $4 per haiku. Or with each seven haiku: €20 or £15 sterling or ¥ 3000 or $25. M.
Haiku/senryu of 17 syllables or fewer are eligible for the competition. Should be original and not previously published, and should not have won a prize or honourable mention at a haiku contest.
Adjudicator: Anatoly Kudryavitsky, editor of Shamrock Haiku Journal and the current President of the Irish Haiku Society.
