Submission Guidelines:
- Open to writers 16.
- Entries must be original and previously unpublished.
- English translations of work originally written in another language are acceptable, as long as translator has permission, and author and translator agree to share prize money.
- Simultaneous submissions accepted.
- Word limit of 3,000.
Entry fee: €15 per story.
Prize:
- 1st prize €3,000.
- 2nd prize a week at Circle of Misse plus open travel stipend.
- 3rd prize €1,000.
Judge: Evie Wyld award-winning author of four novels and one graphic novel. She has won the Betty Trask Prize, Miles Franklin Literary Award, John Llewellyn Rhys Prize and the European Union Prize for Literature. In 2013 she was named as one of Granta‘s Best of Young British Novelists.
