MTP Short Story Competition is open for submissions for 2025.

Submission Guidelines:

• 3,000-word maximum – no minimum
• Open to ALL AUTHORS worldwide.
• Multiple entries and simultaneous submissions are allowed.
• Choose your own title and themes/genres.

Entry fee: Early bird entry £6 – until 10th March.

Prizes:

• First Prize:      £1000 (GBP)
• Second Prize: £500 (GBP)
• Third Prize:     £250 (GBP)
• 5 Runners-up Prizes of £50 (GBP)
• Prizewinning stories will be published in the MTP 2025 Anthology (print book and eBook). The Anthology title will be based on the title of the winning entry.

Deadline: Midnight (GMT+1, London), 10th June, 2025. Winners announced 10th July.
