The Energheia Ireland Prize 2026 is open for entries.
Submission Guidelines
- Open competition for young writers residing in Ireland (18-30 years old)
- Short stories, written in English, with a length not exceeding 1750 words (7 pages)
- They should be submitted electronically in PDF or Word format to energheiaireland@gmail.com
- Please include, in the body of the email, your first and last name, your date of birth, address, phone number, and contact email address
Entry fee: Free to enter
Prizes:
- The best three stories will be shortlisted and sent for the jury’s final judgement. The jury will announce the winner in July 2026.
- The winner of the prize will be invited to attend the International Creative Writing Course and
Final Ceremony in Matera (Italy) held in September 2026. - The organisation will cover travel costs and accommodation.
