The Yeovil Literary Prize is open until May 31, 2018.
There are four categories: Short Story, Poetry, Novel and Writing Without Restrictions. Submit stories of up to 2,000 words, poetry of up to 40 lines, the opening chapters and synopsis of a novel (up to 15,000 words). For Writing Without Restrictions, they say, “You write it – we’ll read it.”
Prizes: £500, £200, £100 for the short story and poetry categories. £1,000, £250, £100 for novels. £200, £100, £50 for Writing Without Restrictions.
Entry Fee: Short Story: £7. Poetry: £7 each, £10 for two, £12 for three. Novel: £12 each. Writing Without Restrictions: £5.
