Words on the Waves Competition

The Words on the Waves Competition is from publishing company, Wordsonthestreet. Submissions open on the 1st of September and close on the 31st of October 2015.

Submit stories of no more than 3,000 words or poems of up to 100 lines. Afric McGlinchey will judge the poetry entries and Danielle McLaughlin the fiction category.

The prizes in each category are: First prize is 750 euros, second is 250 euros. Both will also receive publication in the 2016 WOW! Anthology. Ten shortlisted writers (five from each category) will have their work published in the anthology and will receive a publication fee of 30 euros.

Entry Fee: It costs 15 euro for the first story, 12 euro for subsequent entries. For poetry, it’s 10 euro for the first one and 8 euro thereafter.
