This playwriting competition is open to writers from around the world and of any age.
There are two categories. The first is for plays for young performers (one-act plays for performers aged 11 and under). The second is for plays for teenage audiences between 12-16 years of age.
There will be two winners and they will receive a prize of £1,000 each. The winners will also travel to London to see their play headline the International Festival of Playwriting and Performance in May 2014. In addition, the best plays, entries in the competition will be published in a collection.
