The Vincent Buckley Poetry Prize closes on the 27th of November, 2015.
The prize is to be awarded to a poet writing in Ireland to visit Australia.
For one year from the date of award, the prizewinner will be an honorary fellow of the university associated with the Australian Centre, the reasonable resources of which will be available to the prizewinner for the purposes of commemorating Vincent Buckley’s life and work. The prize provides the prizewinner with a return airfare, and a contribution towards living expenses. The total value of the prize is approximately AUD$12,000.
To enter, the poet must present a group or volume or volumes or oeuvre of poems written in English and it is expected that you will have been published for commercial distribution. You must also include a CV among other documents. See their website for further details.
