Dedalus Press are accepting poetry submissions for a new anthology, Local Wonders: Poems of our Immediate Surrounds.
In response to the pandemic, they are looking for poetry that recognises and celebrates the renewed interest in the local, the near-to-hand, and the within-reach.
The anthology of Irish poetry, drawn from the wide community of Irish and Irish-based voices, will present poems written since the early months of 2020 to date — not so much a diary of the pandemic as a handbook of the things, places and activities that have sustained us throughout.
You can submit up to 3 poems, no longer than 60 lines each.
Entry fee: free
Deadline: 30 August, 2021
