The David Whyte Poet in Residence Award is open to poets over the age of 18, living in Ireland, and working primarily in the medium of poetry.
The award offers a four-week residency for a poet, who is at present working and living in Ireland.
The award recipient will participate in two remotely delivered advisory or conversational sessions with David Whyte during their stay. They will have their own private study room on the BCA campus, to which they will have 24/7 access.
The awardee will also receive a €700 bursary.

Entries should include 8-10 samples of poems, and a CV/Resume which includes any publication history.
