The Fiction Factory First Chapter Competition 2021 is open internationally to anyone aged 16 or over.

Submit the first chapter of your drafted novel.

Maximum word count: 5000

All genres apart from Children’s and Young Adult fiction are accepted. Entries must be in English.

1st prize: £500 and an appraisal

Entry fee: £15 early bird (until May 15th)
