The Medical Science Fiction Competition is free to enter and from the University of Glasgow. Open to writers of any nationality over 18 years of age.

They invite science fiction short stories and self-contained novel excerpts of up to 3,000 words that address themes of medicine, health and illness. Max two entries per person.

Deadline: 31st January 2016

Prizes: £300, £200, £150, £50.
