The Francis Ledwidge Poetry Award is open until November 5, 2019.

First Prize is the Ledwidge plaque (a keepsake) inscribed with the winner’s name & cash prize. There are cash prizes and books for second and third place and merit certificates for finalists. The winner will also be invited to read at the annual Francis Ledwidge Commemoration at the National War Memorial Gardens in July 2020.

Submit poems up to 40 lines.

Entry fee: €5 per poem; 4 for €15. Submit a max of 6 poems.
