The Foyle Young Poets of the Year Award 2015 is now open until July 31st, 2015.

They’re looking for poetry from writers around the world who are aged 11-17. Any length, style and theme.

The top 15 winners will be invited to attend a week’s residential creative writing course at an Arvon centre or receive a poet residency in their school (age dependent). All 100 winners will receive one year’s Youth Membership of the Poetry Society, book prizes, and support and encouragement from the Poetry Society. The winning poems will also be published in an anthology.
