The ‘Ridiculous’ Short Story Competition is open to unpublished authors and closes on the 30th of April 2014.

They are looking for stories up to 1,500 words. Genre: any, but horror.

Judges: Sue Johnson and Heather King.

The prizes are £50 for first, £25 for second and £15 for third.

Entry Fee: £5

The opening sentence of the story is: “She did not need a looking glass to know she must look a fright.”
